You do not need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

Sometimes you know something needs attention, but you are not sure where to begin.

You may not have the right words.

You may be tired of holding it all together on your own.

Sometimes, you may doubt whether what you are carrying is serious enough to ask for help.

That is okay.

&pause is a place to slow down, be heard with care, and begin making sense of what is happening.

You may be here because…

You may be managing anxiety, low mood, past experiences or constant pressure that have left you stuck in survival mode – overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to respond to what life is asking of you.

Perhaps you are:

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed or constantly on edge

  • Carrying low mood, exhaustion or a sense of disconnection

  • Stuck in patterns you cannot seem to shift

  • Navigating grief, loss, relationship strain or a major life change

  • Trying to process something from the past that still affects you now

  • Worried about your child or teenager

  • Feeling uncertain about what you need, but not sure where to start

Everyone deserves space to be heard, understood and supported through the things that feel too heavy to carry alone.

Is counselling right for me?

Counselling can help when life feels hard to manage alone.

It gives you a calm, confidential space to pause, be heard, and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface.

You do not need the right words or a clear plan before you begin. The first session is simply a chance to explore what support could look like and whether &pause feels like the right fit.

Be still. Refill. Grow forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I am ready to book a session

You are welcome to book an initial session when you feel ready.

This is a chance to begin gently, talk through what is happening, and decide together what support may be most helpful.

I have a question first

It is completely understandable to want a little more information before booking.

You may have questions about counselling, whether online or in-person sessions are available, fees, suitability, or what the first appointment involves.

Get in touch and ask what you need to ask.

What happens in the first session?

Your first session is a place to pause and begin.

You will talk through what has brought you here, what support might look like, and whether &pause feels like the right fit.

There is no pressure to share everything at once or have the right words before you begin.

It is simply a chance to be heard, ask questions, and make space for what comes next.

You do not have to keep carrying everything alone.
